About Night Time Snook Fishing:

Nighttime snook fishing runs from April through the end of November and takes place in Tampa Bay’s extensive residential deep-water canal system. After dark, large, hard-fighting snook stack up under docks, feeding on baitfish that gather around green underwater lights, creating consistent and exciting action.

Location

Night time Snook fishing takes place in Tampa Bay's vast residential deep water canals. At night, big hard fighting Snook stack up under docks in search of easy meals in baitfish that are attracted and accumulate in the green underwater lights.

Species

Snook are the main species we target and catch when fishing green lights at night, but Redfish and Speckled Trout are not strangers while targeting the acrobatic hard fighting snook.

Technique

Common techniques night time Snook fishing are maneuvering from green light to green light sight fishing Snook as they are easily detectable. Throwing an artificial lure is the most beneficial way to land these fish and cover as many lights as possible, but live bait maybe utilized depending on the conditions that night. Either way, both live and artificial baits on these green lights are effective ways to land a trophy snook at night.
